Long Climb: how FXNOD's Deriv Rise / Fall bot works
Long Climb is a ready-made bot in FXNOD's Auto Hub that buys Deriv's ten-tick Rise / Fall contract, which wins when the price ends above where it started for a Rise, or below it for a Fall. Long Climb waits until three ticks in a row have moved in the same direction, then takes that side for ten ticks. After a losing trade its stake is multiplied by 2.22, and after a win it returns to the starting stake. You start it on one market with one of three fixed plans, with a stop loss of 20, 100 or 500, and the session ends at the plan's profit target or its stop loss.

What Long Climb trades
Long Climb trades one contract only: Rise or Fall, from Deriv's Rise / Fall family, with a length of ten ticks. A Rise wins when the price at the end of the contract is above the price it started at, and a Fall wins when it is below. A price that ends exactly where it started loses either way. A win pays a little less than the stake, and a losing trade costs the whole stake. Deriv sets the payout, and each trade's result is listed on the run page.
When Long Climb enters a trade
Long Climb compares each tick with the one before it. It enters only when the three newest ticks have all moved the same way. A tick that did not move breaks the run.
After three ticks up it buys a ten-tick Rise; after three ticks down it buys a ten-tick Fall. Ten ticks is the longest contract of the Rise / Fall bots, and only one contract is open at a time.
Long Climb holds one trade at a time: it looks for the next entry only after the last contract has closed. The entry rule sets when the bot trades and how often. It does not make any single trade more likely to win.
How Long Climb sizes its stake
Long Climb uses a Martingale stake. After a losing trade the stake is multiplied by 2.22; after a winning trade it returns to the starting stake. Losses in a row compound: the stake after two straight losses is the starting stake multiplied twice, rounded to two decimal places.
The stop loss bounds the ladder. A stake is placed only if it is no larger than what is left of the stop loss; a step that does not fit is not placed, and the session ends there. The table shows the stakes of an unbroken run of losses from a session that is level. A session that is already in profit has more room, and one that is behind has less.
| Plan | Losses in a row that fit | Stakes if every trade loses | Lost by then | Next step, not placed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stop loss 20 | 5 | 0.35, 0.78, 1.72, 3.83, 8.50 | 15.18 | 18.87 |
| Stop loss 100 | 6 | 1.00, 2.22, 4.93, 10.94, 24.29, 53.92 | 97.30 | 119.71 |
| Stop loss 500 | 6 | 5.00, 11.10, 24.64, 54.71, 121.45, 269.61 | 486.51 | 598.53 |
Read the first row like this: on the stop loss 20 plan, 5 losing trades in a row cost 15.18 in total. The next stake would be 18.87, which is more than the 4.82 left of the stop loss, so the bot does not place it and the session ends.
The plans of Long Climb
Long Climb is not given a stake, a stop loss and a profit target one by one. You choose a plan, and the plan sets all of them together. Plans are named by their stop loss. The amounts are in the currency of the Deriv account the bot trades.
| Plan | Starting stake | Profit target | Multiplier after a loss |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stop loss 20 | 0.35 | 1 | 2.22 |
| Stop loss 100 | 1 | 5 | 2.22 |
| Stop loss 500 | 5 | 25 | 2.22 |
When a session ends
- The profit target is reached. The bot stops with the session's profit at or above the plan's target.
- The stop loss is reached. No stake is placed that could take the session's loss past the plan's stop loss.
- You stop it. The Stop button on the run page ends the session at any time.
Long Climb runs on FXNOD's servers, not in your browser. Closing the page or switching off your device does not stop it, and does not switch off its limits. Starting it again after a session has ended begins a new session with the full plan.
How to start Long Climb
Open Auto Hub and choose Long Climb
The bot's page opens with a How it works panel that lists its rules in order.
Choose the market
Long Climb trades one market, and only a Volatility index: Volatility 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100, and the one-second indices from Volatility 10 (1s) to Volatility 100 (1s). No other market is offered for this bot.
Choose a plan
Each plan card shows its stop loss, its take profit and its starting stake. Nothing on the card can be edited.
Check the account, then start
The panel shows which Deriv account the bot will trade. On a demo account the button reads Start on demo. On a real account you tick a box to confirm that the bot trades real money, and the button reads Start with real money. The first time, Deriv asks you to approve FXNOD's automated-trading connection on its own page.
Questions people ask
- What does the Long Climb bot trade?
- Long Climb buys Deriv's Rise / Fall contract with a length of ten ticks. A trade wins when the price ends above where it started for a Rise, or below it for a Fall. A price that ends exactly where it started loses.
- When does Long Climb place a trade?
- Long Climb waits until three ticks in a row have moved in the same direction, then takes that side for ten ticks.
- Does Long Climb use Martingale?
- Yes. After a losing trade the stake is multiplied by 2.22, and after a win it returns to the starting stake. A step that would not fit in what is left of the stop loss is not placed, and the session ends.
- Can I change the stake or stop loss of Long Climb?
- Not one by one. You choose one of its three plans, with a stop loss of 20, 100 or 500, and the plan sets the stake and the profit target with it. To set every amount yourself, build a bot in Bot Forge.
- Does Long Climb keep running when I close the page?
- Yes. Long Climb runs on FXNOD's servers until it reaches its profit target or its stop loss, or until you stop it.
